Hi. I'm Rose Marie.

Rose Maria Sand is a mom, a grandmother, a survivor, and an explorer, who continuously seeks to find her limits, break through them, learn, and share those learnings with others through her art and writing. She hopes to encourage children to never let fears get in the way of following their dreams. Her latest work shares the experience of overcoming fear through the eyes of a little girl named Ginarose.

Her writing credits include stories in "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books, the original play "Dancing With The Mom", freelance newspaper stories, and a magazine column aptly named "Go Beyond."

"Ginarose Does New Things" is her debut children's book and the first in the Ginarose series. Her inspiration has always been her children (Clint and Gina), her grandsons (Zac and Luke), and her nieces and nephews.

"Time and again, I've learned how to be brave from the children in my life," Rose Marie Said. "When my grandniece, Shelby Rose, danced on the stage for the first time, the character of Ginarose was given life. When it's time to do new things, the faith and courage of children lead the way."
